Hailed as “one of the best acoustic guitarists in the world” by NPR’s World Cafe, Tommy Emmanuel began his musical journey at the age of six, touring Australia with his family’s band. By his teens, he was a sought-after sideman and session player, collaborating with acts like Air Supply and Men at Work. Inspired by his hero Chet Atkins, Emmanuel launched his solo career in 1979, releasing acclaimed instrumental albums that garnered him celebrity status.

Over the decades, he has headlined prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall, toured with legends like Eric Clapton and John Denver, and won a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement. Notably, he performed for over two billion viewers at the Sydney Olympics and collaborated with guitar greats including Les Paul, Mark Knopfler, and Billy Strings.

His latest album, Living In The Light, recorded in just four days, showcases a daring fusion of pop, jazz, classical, and roots influences, making it a standout in his remarkable catalog.
