About the Artists:

Tower of Power has been delivering its unique blend of funk and soul for nearly six decades, defining the unmistakable “Oakland soul” sound. Formed in 1968, they rose to prominence with hits like “You’re Still a Young Man” and “What Is Hip?” Known for their tight horn section and high-energy performances, they have shared stages with legends like Otis Redding and Elton John.

WAR, formed in 1969, is known for their mission to spread brotherhood and harmony through music. Blending funk, soul, rock, and jazz, they have used their platform to address social issues while promoting unity. Their timeless grooves and powerful messages remain relevant today.
