Join us for a delightful morning as we explore the unique history and architecture of one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods, known for its vibrant local watering holes. Enjoy a guided tour of the Neighborhood Arboretum, where you can discover the special trees and urban forest that flourish along our community streets and parks.
The Neighborhood Arboreta were established in the mid-2000s through a collaborative effort involving community members, Trees Atlanta volunteers, and the city.
Meet Your Guide
Jim Long, a Trees Atlanta Certified Volunteer, will be leading the tour. With 15 years of residency in the Virginia Highland Neighborhood and a background as a retired lawyer, Jim is excited to share his knowledge with you!
