Tygroo: 10 let kapely + hosté: Omnion & Trygve Wakenshaw
Tygroo will perform on December 19 at Klubovna. Ten years in the jungle, where the rules are set only by pulsating sub-bass and screeching brass. The band Tygroo is celebrating a decade of existence—a decade of evolution from Balkan roots and klezmer to uncompromising "drum'n'brass" ritual.
Tygroo combines traditional genres (klezmer, Balkan) with modern electronic dance music (EDM, dubstep) and hip-hop. Their work is characterized by wild energy, distinctive tuba bass lines, and saxophone riffs, often compared to a "free jazz/techno Balkan show." Their live concerts are more like a ritual full of dancing and madness. In 2025, after a six-year hiatus, they released their third album, Eat Human, which they launched in October 2025 at Archa in Prague. The album earned them a nomination for an Anděl Award in the jazz category. Their new work has shifted towards darker electronica and trap influences, with sarcastic rap reflecting human transgressions.
