Formed in 1987, UZEDA draws inspiration from their Sicilian roots, named after the historic Porta Uzeda. Their uniquely intense sound is often compared to the explosive energy of Mount Etna, carving a niche that blends alternative rock with noise rock and intricate math influences. Over the years, they've gained acclaim for their spirited approach to music and their unwavering commitment to artistic freedom.

💿 Their journey began with the release of their debut LP, “Out of Colours,” in 1991, leading them to tour with notable acts like Lush across Europe. Collaborations with legendary producer Steve Albini transformed their sound, particularly evident in their acclaimed album, Waters, which solidified their international presence.

📻 UZEDA has collaborated with radio legend John Peel, earning them a rare session spot at BBC Maida Vale and has continued to create music that resonates worldwide. Their most recent release, Quocumque Jeceris Stabit (2019), showcases their remarkable ability to maintain power and precision in their sound.
