Valborg Bonfire - Hello Spring

Valborg, 'the last of April', is one of Sweden’s most cherished spring traditions. It's a way to welcome the arrival of spring and clearing away the winter's debris.

If you're new in the city, you live alone, or just a traveller. Come and join our group of friends.

Together, hand in hand. We celebrate the advent of season of flowers. Slightly shivering – but smiling – in the glow of the bonfire. We come together to sing, drink, dance, watch the flames, and enjoy the first true outdoor evening of the year.

It's a night of fire, music, dance, drink and drink and drink.

Meeting point: Slottsskogen

Meeting time: 17:00- 23:00

Bonfire : 20:30

Notice: our group is loud, happy, cheerful and noisy.

Bring an extra layer of clothes.
a sitting mat. The grass might be cold and wet.

Don't be a free loader. Bring your own snacks and drinks and a bit extra to share with other people.

Don't forget to bring your wide smile on your face and your warm heart in your chest. we truly and warmly take care of each other in our group. We try to have fun and try to make everyone feel warm-welcomed and involved.

I take some pictures, and I post some of our pics on the meet-up, then you choose to be or not to be in the pictures.

I'm just an organizer. I just choose the time and the place, and I try to help us get together in the best way possible. I'm not responsible for anything or anyone.
