Thanks to Open House Prague, visitors can take a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s largest sports stadiums. Join a guided tour of the Strahov Grand Stadium, where you will visit the presidential box, the west grandstand, and the upper tiers. Learn about the history of this colossal structure, which has hosted All-Sokol Gatherings, Spartakiads, concerts, and military parades, and whose original section is now a protected historic site. A surprise awaits at the end of the tour! 🎉

Practical Information:

• 📍 Meeting Point: In front of the gatehouse of the Velký Strahov Stadium, near the bridge connecting it to the Evžen Rošický Stadium. Free parking is available in front of the gatehouse (under the bridge). If arriving by bus, please note that you will need to walk around part of the stadium as there is no bus stop on the entrance side.
• ⏳ Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours.
• ⚠️ Safety: Please exercise caution in certain areas and follow the guide’s instructions. Entry is at your own risk. Wear appropriate footwear—preferably hiking boots—due to uneven surfaces (high heels are unsuitable).
• 🐾 Pets: Strictly prohibited.
• 🎟️ Tickets: Group capacity is limited; tickets must be purchased in advance.
• ❗ Cancellation Policy: The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour no later than 48 hours before the event if there is low interest. Ticket holders will be contacted, and updates will be posted on the organizer’s website.
