Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Are you ready to take a stand? It's time to lace up for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event organized by the Blackburn Center! 🌟 Join us on April 18, 2026, at St. Clair Park in Greensburg as we unite to combat all forms of gender-based violence, including sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking.

This year's walk marks our 15th annual event, and we can't wait to gather as a community to raise awareness and funds for this critical cause. 💪 Each year, participants come together to walk, with many men donning high heels to highlight the challenges women face daily. 👠 This symbolic act sheds light on the harsh realities of gender-based violence and the resilience needed to heal.

🏃 Walk Start: 10:00 a.m.
📸 Team Pictures: 8:45 - 9:45 a.m.
💵 Registration Fee: $10 ($5 for students)

You can register online or via paper forms, and on-site registration will also be available. Be prepared for any kind of weather—rain or shine, we will walk! ☔ Please remember that political campaigning and signs are not permitted at the event.
