On the 4th anniversary of Volker Iron Lungs Frerichs' death, Total Maniac will resonate from the abysses into the realms of reality, bringing horror and damnation one last time as a deafening echo of Iron Lungs' eerie dirge.
Total Maniac is a DIY project at its core, with the earliest songs written between 2012 and 2020, recorded in the presence of Volker, who passed away shortly after the last phrases were recorded.
The sound has evolved from heavy HELLHAMMER influences into a distinctive style while remaining true to its origins, featuring covers of CRUDE SS and VELLOCET on the bonus EP, highlighting its punk roots.
Mixed in 2022 with a DIY mindset by the remaining WARHAMMER members, the project was professionally mastered by Obscured by Evil.
Finally, after 3 years, "Total Maniac" is set to release via Ván Records on 12th March 2025!
After more than 20 years, 6 albums, and countless concerts worldwide, Warhammer is heading for their final "apocalyptic end." These last shows will showcase a cross-section of all Warhammer's works, giving fans one last chance to see them live.
