West African Level 1 (drop-in class)

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Join our all-gender West African Drumming Level I weekly drop-in class every Sunday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. led by Dan. This class caters to beginner and advanced beginner levels with drums provided.

💵 Cost: $15 per participant per class.

This class is designed to teach you the basics of West African rhythms and techniques while helping you build confidence in your musical abilities. Walk-ins are welcome, and all gender identities are invited! For more information and to register, click here.

GETTING THERE AND ACCESSIBILITY:

Please remove your street shoes at the door. Feel free to bring slippers or non-street shoes to change into. We also have a limited supply of clean socks available for borrowing. This no-street shoe policy helps protect our beautiful floor.
Our center is situated in the basement of the Dow Building, accessible via one flight of stairs.
