When Adopted Children Start Seeking Answers

About this session:

A sharing circle for adoptive families to explore what happens when a child begins to question, search, or is curious to know where they came from.

Who is it for?

• Your child has started asking questions about their birth family or story.
• They are expressing a wish to search for or connect with their birth parents.
• You've felt caught off guard or unsure how to respond.
• You're an adoptee, sibling, or family member who has experienced this.

This sharing circle is designed primarily as a space for adoptive parents to connect, reflect, and share their experiences with one another. Adult adoptees are welcome to attend and participate. Some discussions may not be age-appropriate, and we request that children not attend the session.
