
Woodland Historic Lantern Tour
On sale August 1st As the sun sets before 8 PM in September, join us for Historic Tours illuminated by lantern light. This is a wonderful alternative if you couldn’t secure a spot in our History, Mystery, Mayhem, and Murder Tours.
Founded in 1841, Woodland is one of the oldest rural cemeteries in the United States. Explore the final resting place of notable figures such as the Wright Brothers, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Erma Bombeck, James Ritty, the Stanley Family, the Mead Family, George Newcom, and many other famous and infamous Daytonians.
All tours require a reservation, and there is a suggested donation of $10. All donations support the Woodland Arboretum Foundation, which focuses on restoration, preservation, horticultural, and educational projects to maintain Woodland as a cultural resource for Dayton and Ohio.
