Welcome to our creative hub! 🌟

Please Note: We’re not meeting in the lobby. Instead, head up to the 7th floor via Elevator A. Once you arrive, walk towards the back to find us sitting at one or both of the long rectangular tables, near the register with the pizza oven.

Founded in November 2016 as a NaNoWriMo write-in group, we originally gathered for an entire month of creative writing. We enjoyed word wars, sprints, and occasional writing prompts together. From our humble beginnings at OBA Amsterdam to our beloved Scheltema, we have always sought the perfect writing environment—tables, comfy chairs, power access, internet, and great coffee.

After some challenges during the pandemic, we are thrilled to return to our roots at the Central Library in Amsterdam. To join us, locate Elevator A by going up the steps upon entering the library and looking to your right. Once on the 7th floor, walk straight past the first register until you reach the hot food pickup point. We write diligently for 1.5 hours and then enjoy drinks afterward. 🍹
