About Wymering Manor

Wymering Manor is the oldest Grade II listed building in Portsmouth, with roots tracing back to the Domesday Book of 1086. Once a grand manor house, it now awaits restoration by dedicated trustees. The manor is nestled next to the ancient church of St Peter and St Paul, located at the junction of two historic roads. Evidence of Roman settlement and artifacts have been discovered nearby, adding to the manor’s storied past.

Reported Activity

Visitors have reported hearing the joyful sounds of children playing on the upper levels, seeing shadowy figures, and sensing an eerie energy in the basement, where many have felt an unsettling urge to leave. No Ouija boards are allowed on the premises!
