About King Yellowman
King Yellowman has an incredible history in reggae music. Overcoming challenges from his upbringing at the Maxfield Home orphanage in Kingston and being albino in Jamaica, he rose to fame as one of the biggest reggae artists since Bob Marley.
After winning a talent contest, Yellowman excited reggae crowds worldwide with his boastful lyrics and energetic performances. Despite facing a jaw cancer diagnosis in 1986, he made a remarkable comeback with the hit song "Blueberry Hill".
Now back on the Ragga scene, Yellowman's performances are lively, showcasing his sharp, melodic style and cheeky witticisms. Don't miss this dancehall event of the season in Maine!
