Young Naturalist Explorers: Fun with Odonates

Join Mead Botanical Garden’s Young Naturalist Explorers class to discover the fascinating world of dragonflies and damselflies!

🌍 What to Expect:

• Hike through the wetlands to learn about their incredible “superpowers”
• Experiment with perching heights, decoys, and flight patterns
• Create a journey stick using natural materials collected along the way

🧳 What to Bring:

• Water
• Binoculars
• Blanket/Chair
• Closed-toe shoes/boots
• Your sense of curiosity!

👶 Recommended Ages: 5-12 (families are welcome!)
Parent participation is not required, but a parent or guardian must remain onsite for the duration of the class. Parents/Guardians do not need to purchase tickets for themselves.
