Youth Volunteers for Conservation (YV4C) Aquatic Invasive Species Snapshot Day

Join us for a unique opportunity to become a scientist for a day! 🌱 This event is designed for young adults aged 15-21 through our Youth Volunteers for Conservation (YV4C) program.

Team up with the Wisconsin DNR and UW Extension for a statewide, one-day scavenger hunt aimed at protecting our local lakes and rivers. Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) pose a significant threat to wildlife, recreation, and habitats by degrading water quality, disrupting native fish habitats, and impacting public health.

This single-day blitz will help map the presence of AIS across Wisconsin's watersheds, creating a vital "snapshot" of ecosystem health. No experience is necessary!
