Join us for a week-long celebration of all things Bukowski! 🌟 From August 10 to 16, 2026, immerse yourself in films, enlightening lectures, engaging discussions, and memorable social gatherings with leading Bukowski researchers at F-Haus, Berlin.

Event Highlights:

  • August 10: Meet Marina Bukowski, followed by a screening of Bukowski (USA 1973) and a talk by Kevin Patrick Allen on the truth behind the famous quote, "Find what you love and let it kill you."
  • August 11: Q&A session with Marina Zavala, followed by You Never Had It: An Evening With Bukowski and Bukowski: Born Into This.
  • August 12: Join us for a friendly soccer match: Bukowski Society vs. Berlin International, plus a screening of Factotum.
  • August 13: Lecture on Bukowski in Thailand by Sönke Manns and watch Crazy Love (1987) in the evening.
  • August 14: Exciting lectures by Sönke Manns and David Calonne, as well as a walking tour of Bukowski & Co. in Berlin.
  • August 15: Discussions on Bukowski's last words and more, concluding with Hot Water Music by DJ Newcleus.
  • August 16: A final meeting of the Charles Bukowski Society.
