A new original production by the creative collective 8lidí focuses on the issues of climate change and the human response to it.

Pleasant heat. Thick steam. The smell of citrus. Great sauna relaxation. Worldwide fire census reports record numbers. In Brazil, Turkey and India, several houses have collapsed due to soil erosion. Two years ago, the human population passed the eight billion mark. Environmental issues have long taken a back seat in election campaigns. The Great Sauna Relaxation.

How to respond to climate change and not burn out? What positive things can be gained from the crisis? Where else to look for solutions but in the sauna? Sauna bathing promotes the regeneration of the body, flushes out hormones of happiness, shakes thoughts, calms the soul and eases grief. Rebirth by fire, sauna rituals, conversations and images in the hot steam connect the reflection of the fire of the planet and the inner crises of man.
