911 Walk of Remembrance 2026
PLEASE INVITE & SHARE — ALL ARE WELCOME!
The Father Mychal Judge Walk of Remembrance is a heartfelt annual event founded by Detective Steven McDonald, dedicated to honoring the memory of those we lost on 9/11, particularly Father Mychal Judge, FDNY Chaplain and the first recorded casualty of that fateful day.
In a spirit of prayer, unity, and remembrance, we retrace Father Mychal’s final journey from St. Francis of Assisi Church down 7th Avenue towards the World Trade Center, mirroring the path taken by so many courageous souls on that tragic day.
As we walk, we pay tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD, and all heroes who responded to the call. This event is not a fundraiser; there is no fee to participate. It is a simple yet profound walk to remember, to honor, and to ensure we never forget.
Join us. Walk with us. Remember with us.
