An Evening with John Yau

Join us for a captivating evening filled with poetry and personal anecdotes from the esteemed poet and author John Yau, celebrating the life and work of the iconic American poet John Ashbery and his artist friends. 🎨

Ashbery, known for his three-decade tenure as an art critic, often drew inspiration from visual arts, fostering invaluable friendships with countless artists. Having studied under Ashbery and obtained his MFA from Brooklyn College, Yau has made his mark in the New York art scene with over 50 books of poetry, fiction, and art criticism.
