Awakening the Sacred Masculine in Queer Men

For many queer men, masculinity has been shaped by rejection, performance, or fear. My upcoming workshop offers a different path: one of reclamation, healing, and embodiment.
Together, we’ll explore the sacred masculine through four powerful archetypes: the Magician, Warrior, King, and Lover. Through guided reflection and relationship building, you’ll reconnect with your intuition, strengthen your boundaries, claim your inner authority, and deepen your capacity for connection and pleasure. We’ll cap the session with an initiation ceremony to fully integrate the truths of who we are.
This is not about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you already are.
About the Facilitator: David Monticalvo facilitates spaces for queer people to reconnect with themselves spiritually, emotionally, and authentically. His work blends archetypal insight and honest conversation to support self-discovery and healing. For the past four years, he has led a Gay Men’s Spirituality Group, a drop-in space for local men to connect more deeply and authentically. He is currently apprenticing in curanderismo, an indigenous healing pathway, deepening his connection to ancestral practices and integrating this work into his offerings.
