Birding at Lakewood

Join us for a delightful birding walk led by educator Amy Simso Dean! 🌳 This event is perfect for all ages and encourages birders of any experience level. Binoculars are provided for your convenience!

👣 What to Expect:

• Enjoy a peaceful, slow-paced walk of approximately 1.5 miles on easy to moderate terrain.
• Don't forget to wear comfortable, close-toed shoes – seating is not available.
• The event kicks off with a brief lesson on birding techniques and local bird diversity, followed by a group walk to observe and learn about various birds. 🌈

📍Location:
Meet by scenic Jo Pond, located about half a mile from the main gate. Look for directional signs!
