Drama Bar presents CLOSET CINEMA - a curated film series by Adnan, inspired by the movies he watched growing up, quietly and "in the closet.

For our fifth screening, we present Wilde (1997, d. Brian Gilbert) — the film tells the story for famed author, poet and playwright, Oscar Wilde. One fo the most famous and infamous sassy figures of the 19th century.
The biopic traces his rise to fame, his passionate relationship with Lord Alfred Douglas, and the events that led to his public persecution. As Wilde challenges the rigid moral values of Victorian England, his trial, imprisonment, and personal tragedy reveal the devastating cost of prejudice, while celebrating his wit, brilliance, and enduring legacy.

Staring Stephen Fry, who embodies Wilde's essence in every way... Oh and we get to see Jude Law's beautiful buttocks.
