Please note that this week’s workshop will be different than our usual workshops. It will be led by Alex Blakeson a guest speaker. The workshop theme will be as described below:

COMMUNICATE • CONNECT • CONSULT!
Interactive Relationship & Consultation Workshop

🗓 Invite your partner, spouse or significant other, of you have one, or come as you are to learn as:
👥 Couples, pairs & in small groups of individuals
💬 Learn practical tools for happier communication and “win-win” consultation

🌱 Hour 1 — Couple & Pair Communication
(Based on the Gottman Institute approach + elements of the Nonviolent Communication model)

❤️ Practice:
• Asking clearly for what you need or want
• Listening so others feel truly heard
• Supporting and encouraging other pairs
• Healthy compromise & loving communication

🔄 Interactive rotating exercises in:
• Groups of 4 (two couples)
• Groups of 3 (“pairs in 3’s” practice, singles or without their partner)

🌍 Hour 2 — Selfless Consultation
(Inspired by Bahá’í principles of consultation)

🗳 Practice:
• “Win-win” inclusive, participatory consultation
• “From the clash of differing opinions comes the spark of truth”
• Group decision-making with respect & for unity

🌟 Practical skills for:
• Couples & families
• Friendships and teams
• Community-building
• Everyday life
