Dinner at 1 Michelin Star Hide with BYO

A hide is where ornithologists conceal themselves to watch the birdlife. Ollie Dabbous' Mayfair bolthole 1 Michelin Star HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight. Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breath-taking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park. Menus showcase the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network of small farmers & suppliers from across the UK.

I have booked the special offer Summer Set menu which is 4 courses for £72 (+15% service charge) - see the menu below. Even better, on Fridays in August Hide are running a BYO offer for no corkage! For our table of 7 for the BYO I will take 6 bottles of wine with an average retail price of £25 - 1 champagne, 2 whites, 2 reds and a dessert wine. With typical restaurant mark-ups these wines would cost around £80 on their wine list, so this is a great opportunity to enjoy delicious food and drink fine wines without paying restaurant prices (for the wine!).

The wine which I will take is an integral of this event so please do NOT ask if you can attend if you are not happy to share in all 6 bottles of wine. On the evening you will pay for the balance of your food bill and any additional drinks you order.
