EL Paso Youth Environmental Ambassadors Clean Up Event

Hello, everyone! We are Melody Dominguez and Saul Nuñez, Student Leadership Instructors with the El Paso Youth Environmental Ambassadors (EPYEA) through Reconnecting with the Disconnected. Over the past eight weeks, we've learned what it truly means to be leaders—not just by talking about leadership, but by taking action! Our capstone project is to organize and lead a community cleanup and environmental education event completely on our own. Now, we're inviting our community to join us!

📍 Playa Lateral Canal adjacent to Capistrano Park

This event is about so much more than just picking up trash. Together, we'll be:
🌱 Cleaning and beautifying our community
💧 Teaching residents about stormwater pollution and protecting our waterways
🤝 Building partnerships between youth, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders
❤️ Inspiring others to become lifelong environmental stewards
