This workshop is an invitation to explore Butoh as a way of being, rather than a method to master. Rooted in the philosophy and life-practice of Butoh as taught by Yoshito Ohno, participants will engage in solo and group explorations, guided improvisation, and silent observation.

With no promise of choreography or defined forms, this lab encourages each participant to unlearn conventional dance practices, revealing a profound sense of body, space, and the enigma of existence.
