Family Fun: Art Cart

Join us in the Sculpture Court for exciting, hands-on craft activities led by talented artists! These relaxed, drop-in sessions are perfect for families with children aged 5–12. Come along and unleash your creativity together! ✂️✨

Craft Sessions Include:

• Porthole Pictures and Origami Boats
  Create porthole pictures and origami boats using collage, drawing, and simple paper folding techniques. Add texture with buttons, wool, and card to craft imaginative sea scenes and floating vessels.

• Marine Paper Sculptures
  Make colorful marine paper sculptures using cutting, folding, and layering techniques to create vibrant sea creatures, plants, and waves.
  Saturday 11 July, 13:00-15:00 & Wednesday 15 July, 11:00-13:00

• Fantastic Sea Creatures
  Create fantastical sea animals by cutting, rearranging, and drawing on illustrated templates. You can then colour, name, and invent stories for your creature.
  Thursday 16 July, 11:00-13:00

• Fishermen & Sea Animals
  Create a hanging artwork inspired by fishermen and sea creatures using simple making techniques to bring underwater stories to life.
  Friday 17 July, 11:00-13:00

• Folding Fish
  Fold, decorate, and assemble paper fish while exploring shape and pattern in this fun crafting session.
  Saturday 18 July, 13:00-15:00

• Coaster Creations
  Design your own sea-themed coaster using collage and drawing to create layered scenes with sea creatures or mythical figures.
