The exhibition program of Galerie Entrance for 2026 draws from the ecological understanding of the forest as a connected organism. Here, trees, fungi, soil, and microorganisms form a network of sharing, collaboration, and memory.
Inspired by the book Finding the Mother Tree (2021) by forest ecologist Suzanne Simard, the exhibition reveals how forests function as interconnected communities. The concept of mother trees—the ancient individuals that support the growth and survival of other organisms—plays a crucial role. Simard's research fundamentally shifts our view of forests from spaces of competition to realms of cooperation.
This exhibition showcases three artistic personalities for whom nature serves as a lifelong muse:
The exhibition intertwines these three distinct artistic approaches, drawing attention to what transcends the human perspective—what nourishes, supports, and simultaneously demands our care and respect.
