About the event
Join us for an enriching workshop on safe and responsible fishing! ๐๐ Our trained experts from the NSW Department of Primary Industries will guide you through:
- โ Best practices in fishing
- ๐ Ideal fishing locations
- ๐ How to catch and release native fish
- ๐ฎ Proper disposal of introduced fish and fishing-related litter
What to Bring:
- ๐ฃ Your own fishing gear (rods and reels) - extra gear will be available
- ๐ง Drinking water
- ๐งข Hat and sun protection
- ๐ Clothes that can get wet
- ๐ Any food you'd like to enjoy
Important: You must hold a Recreational Fishing Licence to participate (mandatory for all fishing in NSW). A three-day licence is available for just $7 through Service NSW. Be ready to confirm that you have your licence verbally before the event.
Age Requirement:
- ๐ง Age limit: 12 and up.
- ๐ Participants aged 12-18 need parental or guardian permission.
This exciting learning experience is totally FREE to attend, but make sure you have your licence! Don't miss out on a day of fun and learning!
