Friday Night Studio: Everyday Icons with Pru Morrison

Unwind and ignite your creativity in this lively workshop led by artist Pru Morrison! ✨ Drawing inspiration from Pru’s irreverent and humorous ceramic works showcased in Shifting Ground, this hands-on session encourages you to reimagine daily domestic objects—think recliners, toilets, and even pets—as playful, symbolic icons.

🖌️ Using drawing, collage, and mixed media techniques, participants will start with block prints of Pru’s signature columns, layering imagery and personal references to craft bold, expressive compositions. Along the way, Pru will share valuable insights into her artistic process, blending satire, historical references, and feminist perspectives.
