Sound the trumpets, polish the portcullis, and alert the castle ghosts — our first meeting back at Dudley Castle is officially happening! 🎺

And who’s kicking off our grand return? None other than John Billingham, serving up a fabulously titled talk: “Life in 1950 Times.” 🕰️

Expect nostalgia, surprises, and at least one moment where someone mutters, “Blimey, I remember that…”
We’ll dive into tales of ration books, real tea, and the kind of childhood stories that start with “Back in my day…” leading you to wonder how anyone survived the 1950s without Wi-Fi!
