🤗 Discover the skills and techniques needed to craft a stunning portrait in our welcoming, step-by-step drawing class. Students will learn to simplify the often intimidating process of drawing faces through approachable techniques and guided instruction.

🔹 What You'll Learn:

• Start with contour line drawing.
• Progress to gridding methods and value shading to enhance accuracy, proportion, and depth in your artwork.

📸 Prepare for Your Portrait:
Please submit a photo to bluemooseclasses@gmail.com with the subject line "portraiture class" by June 13th. Participants will create a portrait of their choice using a reference image submitted beforehand. The instructor will convert this image to black and white, sizing it appropriately for the grid process.

✨ As you work on your portrait, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of proportion, comparison, and observational drawing techniques that artists have relied on for generations.
