Public healthcare systems across Europe are under enormous strain — demand is surging, waiting lists continue to grow, patients are increasingly turning to private care, and clinicians are facing burnout at scale. Incremental fixes are no longer sufficient.

A new wave of private companies is fundamentally reimagining care models — challenging assumptions about how, where, and by whom care is delivered. From mental health to cardiovascular disease, from prescription medicine to surgery, innovators are disrupting the traditional primary-secondary care divide.
