History Café: Shelf Life Community Story Project
Join us for an enlightening discussion on the Shelf Life Community Story Project, which preserves the oral histories of both current and former residents of Seattle's vibrant Central District neighborhood. 🌟
Contributors will share insights about their new book, Limitless: Stories from the Neighborhood that Shaped Seattle, showcasing the culmination of a multi-year oral history initiative. The narratives highlight themes of innovation, interdependence, self-determination, creativity, and resistance, beautifully illustrated by seven talented artists with deep roots in the Central District. 🎨
This event is made possible through the collaboration of HistoryLink, The Pacific Northwest Historians Guild, and MOHAI.
