Join us for an engaging event focused on the role of insect collections in education, research, and conservation! Learn about:

  • Ethical and effective methods for collecting insects
  • Suitable species for collection
  • Techniques for preserving specimens for study

Participants will have the opportunity to view a reference collection and watch a live, narrated demonstration of insect pinning. Weather permitting, we may also have an outdoor demonstration of basic insect collecting methods!
