Inwood Canoe Club’s Sunday Open House (One time only on a Saturday)

Join us for a unique opportunity at the Inwood Canoe Club Open House! 🌟 Experience guided 20-minute kayak trips on the scenic Hudson River, just north of the George Washington Bridge!

🗓️ Event Details:

• Enjoy open house activities from May 25 to August 31, 2025.
• This special event will take place on Saturday, July 12 instead of the usual Sunday due to City of Water Day.

🌊 Kayaking Adventures:

• Sign up for an exciting paddle in one of our 12 sit-on-top kayaks or in a tandem kayak with a friend! No prior experience is required!
• Wave signup starts at 9 a.m., with three guided sessions available on a first come, first served basis:
  • Wave 1: Arrive by 9:45 a.m., launch at 10 a.m.
  • Wave 2: Arrive by 10:30 a.m., launch at 10:45 a.m.
  • Wave 3: Arrive by 11:15 a.m., launch at 11:30 a.m.

🛶 Who Can Join:

• All guests must be able to swim and be at least 8 years old.
• Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• We provide all necessary equipment, including boats, paddles, and personal flotation devices (PFDs).

👕 What to Bring:

• Wear suitable clothing and shoes that can get wet.
• Please leave valuables at home or store them in waterproof bags. (The club is not liable for any lost items.)
• No pets allowed during the Open House.
