Join us in honoring Ukrainian Independence and the courageous individuals who fight for it every day! This special event will be held on 10 oktober 17:00 - 19:00 at Sigtunagatan 12, 113 22 Stockholm, Sweden.

Immerse yourself in a profound evening featuring two remarkable personalities:

✨ Olena Herasymyuk, "Hera" – a poet, veteran, and former military doctor. This past June, she made history by representing Ukraine at the World Poetry Slam in Mexico! She's the author of several impactful works including "Calendar of the Shot", "Prison Song", and "Deafness", and co-editor of the project Unfinished that compiles pieces by poets lost to war. Recently, she was awarded the prestigious Women in Arts Award 2025.

✨ Kateryna Pryimak – Leader of the VETERANKA movement, activist, and combat medic. Instead of pursuing a master's degree in cultural studies, she volunteered for the front lines in 2014 to aid the wounded in crisis areas. Recognized with the Princess Olga Order of the 3rd Degree, she has dedicated her life to advocating for women's rights within the Ukrainian army for over a decade. She has also represented Ukraine at the UN and led several impactful information campaigns worldwide, receiving various accolades including the Women in Art Award.

• An auction in support of VETERANKA, in collaboration with our partners STFU Tacticats
• Book sales and opportunities to meet our friends from a Swedish initiative supporting Ukrainian culture, along with the new Partnership Manager from the Come Back Alive fund.

💰 Entry Donation: A minimum contribution of 100 kr at the door, with all proceeds directly supporting VETERANKA through our partners STFU Tacticats.

💪 The VETERANKA movement is pioneering the fight for the rights of female veterans in Ukraine since 2018, changing laws and opening military positions for women that were previously unavailable. Over the years, they have provided security and support amounting to over 120 million UAH to various brigades and units. Their mission continues to empower women through rehabilitation, rights advocacy, and solidarity.
