Life Drawing at the Library
Join Our Life Drawing Experience at Upper Norwood Library! 🖌️
Dive into the world of life drawing every Monday from 17:00 to 19:30 at the Upper Norwood Library Hub! This welcoming and informal class is ideal for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner eager to explore your artistic side or an experienced sketcher aiming to enhance your observational skills.
Each week, we feature a new model and offer a range of pose lengths, from quick, dynamic warm-ups to longer poses perfect for in-depth observation. You'll receive as much or as little guidance from our talented tutor, Emily, who is currently engaged in the Drawing Year 2026 course at the Royal Drawing School focusing on observational techniques.
Expect a friendly group atmosphere where you can discuss various techniques and materials with fellow art enthusiasts! At the end of each session, we’ll share and reflect on the artworks created (participation is optional), fostering an engaging dialogue about techniques that worked well and ideas to try next time. 💬
