Lo-Fi Oyster Co. and Local Economy Present Tide Tables, Ambient Jazz and Bay Science

“Tide Tables” is a special series presented in collaboration with Lo-Fi Oyster Co. Each event combines ambient jazz with conversations about the Bay water, climate, and food systems.
Up first, the Wild Oyster Project will be paired with experimental ambient vocalist Roco Córdova.
The Wild Oyster Project aims to bring native oysters back to San Francisco Bay through shell recycling, community engagement and restoration initiatives. They imagine a swimmable, edible Bay using the power of oysters.
Roco Córdova is a composer, improviser, and vocalist, who was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Córdova's work fuses diverse influences with electronic media, chance operations, gradual processes, noise, improvisation, and timbral techniques of composition.
