Lughnasadh/Harvest Celebration (6-7pm)

Lughnasadh/Harvest Celebration (6-7pm)

About the event

Join the Greenlake Grove at North Greenlake, Seattle, for a heartfelt celebration of Lughnasadh, the first of two harvest festivals. ๐ŸŒฝ Believers and seekers of good intention are warmly welcomed, regardless of background or experience!

On or around August 1st in the northern hemisphere, Lughnasadh marks a special time when the fields yield their harvest. Here, we honor the sacrifice of John Barleycorn, who symbolizes the cycle of life and sustenance. ๐Ÿž As he transforms from green to gold, he reminds us of the blessings of the earth.

๐Ÿ“ Location Details:
At the north end of Greenlake (between tennis courts and wading pool) Near Stone Avenue North & West Green Lake Drive North
South of the parking lot East of the tennis courts (across from the Greenlake Trail)

  • From the west side of the parking lot, walk south, then left up the small hill into the oak grove.

โœจ Bring along a poem, song, or story to share after the celebration, along with food or drink to enrich our gathering. Looking forward to a magical evening surrounded by nature and community!

With blessings from the Oak, Yew, and Silver Birch! ๐ŸŒณ
