• Drop Saws and Hand Saws: Master how to measure and cut your wood to the right size.
• Drills and Drill Press: Learn to make precise holes and start joining your pieces together.
• Sanding Techniques: Get hands-on with the orbital sander to prepare your work for finishing touches.
• Shop Equipment Usage: Understand how to operate the shop vacuum and air compressor.

⚠️ Please note that we won't cover advanced tools such as the table saw, band saw, plunge saw, router, or metalworking tools like the angle grinder during this session.

With practical demonstrations, examples, and a few creative challenges, you'll leave with a solid understanding of basic tools and the confidence to tackle your own woodworking projects! ✨

• This workshop emphasizes hands-on experience with basic tools. The goal is to familiarize yourself with the equipment so you can return and use the workshop independently.
• You will not complete your own project during this session.
• Safety first: Some machinery in the FabLab can be dangerous, and all participants must sign a liability waiver before attending.

The FabLab Neukölln is a collaborative space powered by 42berlin and workish.berlin. It's a fantastic maker space, creative workshop, and hardware lab located in Neukölln.

Spanning 150 square meters, the FabLab consists of a dirt lab equipped with woodworking and metalworking tools perfect for those who love to create with a bit of noise and dust. Across the hall, there's a clean lab featuring a 3D printer, laser cutter, and textile lab where your more delicate projects can come to life.
