Marvin: A Marvin Gaye Revue

Join us for a spectacular musical celebration as WBTT presents Marvin: A Marvin Gaye Revue! After the overwhelming success of Marvin Gaye: Prince of Soul, we’re back with an electrifying new experience honoring the timeless music of legendary singer-songwriter Marvin Gaye.

Created and directed by Nate Jacobs, this revue features a talented ensemble, including fan favorites like Sheldon Rhoden, Jada Carson, Jazzmin Carson, Michael Mejia-Mendez, Raleigh Mosely II, Leon S. Pitts II, Jai Shanae, Riki Stevens, and Henry Washington.

Music direction is by Etienne “EJ” Porter and choreography by Donald Frison. Experience the evolution of popular Black music through Gaye's exquisite catalog, including hits such as:

• Can I Get a Witness
• Sexual Healing
• Heard It Through the Grapevine

The production runs from July 15-24, 2026 at the Donelly Theatre located at 1012 N. Orange Ave., Sarasota. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
