About Matt McCusker:
Hailing from Philadelphia, Matt McCusker is not just a comedian but a novelist and actor, celebrated as “The Shaman.” He's the co-host of the wildly popular Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast, a show that has captivated millions with over 5.5 million monthly downloads. Recently, they partnered with Spotify to bring video episodes to their audience, marking a thrilling evolution in their content.

His debut Netflix special, A Humble Offering, premiered in October 2025, resonating with themes like homelessness and race relations, and quickly made its way into the Top 10. In 2023, he released The Speed of Light, which garnered nearly 4 million views on YouTube, showcasing his sharp humor. As an actor, he's made notable appearances in Netflix’s Tires and the acclaimed series Gilly & Keeves.

In August 2025, he launched his first animated project with The Papa John Paradox, with five shorts already released. McCusker is also an author, known for his provocative debut novel, Overlook: A Story About Drugs, Disappointment, and the American Dream.
