Městský hřbitov: Opava hlavním zemským městem

The tour of the city cemetery will focus on personalities who are associated with Opava as the provincial capital of Austrian Silesia (1850–1928). We will visit the grave of provincial president Bacquehem, important burgomasters from the time before the First World War (Woytech, Hauer, Rochowanski, Kudlich), the director of the regional hospital Freissler, the director of the Boecka psychiatric hospital and other important people who made their mark in the history of the city in the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
