For the fifteenth year in a row, the title of IMPROVISATION CHAMPION will be awarded, along with the glittering challenge cup. And this time, it’s going to be a real dance-off in the style of StarDance. An evening full of glitz, elegance, and humor will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the NoD Theater

Unfortunately, Marek Eben will not be hosting the evening; instead, the reigning champion from 2025—Honza—will host and, at the end, hand over the traveling trophy to his successor. Who will become the king or queen of the improvisation dance floor? The audience will decide!

The entire lineup of popular and experienced improvisers from the IMPROvariace troupe will take the stage. They will draw inspiration from themes and prompts provided by the audience and perform a diverse range of short improvisations—from a dramatic paso doble to an energetic jive, a romantic waltz, or an unexpected freestyle.

The audience will decide the outcome through their votes. They will determine who does not advance to the next round and who, on the other hand, dances their way to victory and wins the title of IMPROVISATION CHAMPION 2026. Every vote counts, and thanks to a special app, there’s no need to vote via text message.
