Their sound weaves towering guitar leads with heavy sludge grooves and haunting vocals, a homage to both early Norwegian pioneers and the dissonance of contemporary French bands. Born in Rouen in 2018, Iffernet delivers unbridled black metal in its rawest form, featuring just guitar, drums, and vocals. With two full-length albums already released, they've captivated audiences across Europe from Copenhagen to Budapest and performed at festivals like Roadburn and Nordanpaunk. Their third full-length album is set for release on March 20, 2026, following a split LP with Dolpo in 2024. Dive into their atmospheric and gritty sound, as they redefine black metal!
