About the event

Moving Untamed: Symposium on Artistic Research through Embodied Practices

This symposium investigates new modes of knowing and creating through somatic experience. The body — our primary means of being in the world — is perpetually in a state of becoming. Beyond its materiality, the body serves as a site of identity, existing in relation to others and to sociopolitical and cultural dynamics.

Grounded in embodiment as methodology, the symposium places lived experience at the centre of inquiry, examining how movement challenges dominant narratives, reorients perception, and reshapes structures and processes. The gathering aims to foster a space for active participation and exchange, where varied contributions come together to generate a rich critical and creative dialogue around artistic research.
