Mozartova hudba a dopisy
A musical drama program dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The dramaturgy, performed by soloist Vanda Šípová, coloratura soprano at the National Theater in Prague, and pianist Michal Mašek, offers well-known and lesser-known arias from operas (The Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute, Idomeneo, Figaro...), the master's song compositions, and also the composer's solo compositions. The individual musical performances are interspersed with readings of selected letters that Mozart wrote to his beloved wife Constanze. These are read aloud by the popular actress Anna Polívková, as if Constanze herself were reading them in her mind. The program concludes with Lacrimosa from the last composition of Requiem KV 626, followed by a short text that Constanze added to her letters on the day of Mozart's death on December 5, 1791.
